Changes In States of Matter Part 2
When solids are heated, they melt and change into their liquid form. When gases are cooled, they condense and change into their liquid form. The temperature at which a liquid freezes and turns into a solid is known as the liquid’s “Freezing Point.” The freezing point of water is 0 degree Celsius. The boiling point of water is 100 degrees Celsius. When it is heated to 100 degree Celsius, it boils and changes to its gaseous form, called water vapor.
