Comparing Fractions
If the denominators of two fractions are same, the fraction with larger numerator is greater.
For example: Let’s compare the fractions
7 9
and
2 9
.
Both the fractions have same denominators.
So, just compare the numerators 7 and 2.
Since 7 > 2,
