Fill in the Blanks with Possessive Pronouns
Fill in the Blanks with Possessive Pronouns
Possessive pronouns take the place of a noun and show possession. This is an important lesson as possessive pronouns are the pronouns most commonly spelled incorrectly. Possessive pronouns never use an apostrophe and this game by Turtle Diary addresses this issue. The interactive game presents the student with a series of sentences with the choice of two possessive pronouns. Using a keyboard the student submits the correct possessive form of the pronoun. The student receives immediate audible feedback alerting the student if the answer is correct. If the student's answer is incorrect, the correct response is highlighted providing a learning moment. The student is encouraged to practice the game again until a 100 percent score is achieved.
